The story

From a family shop in Indore to the world's biggest conversations.

Raj didn't start with a studio, a network or a famous name. He started with a problem to solve at sixteen, and a habit of learning from anyone who knew more than he did.

1997

Born in Indore

Raj Shamani is born on 29 July into a Sindhi family in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father, Suresh Shamani, runs a textile and chemical trading business.

Today
What his path teaches

Three ideas behind Figuring Out.

i.

Start before you feel ready.

He was running part of a business at sixteen. Readiness came from doing the work, not waiting for it.

ii.

Consistency compounds.

575 long-form conversations, week after week. The audience didn't arrive overnight; it was earned one episode at a time.

iii.

Borrow the best minds.

The fastest way to learn is to sit with people who have already done it, and ask how they think.
